We're recruiting a Software Engineering Manager for an EdTech company that have developed software that helps students reach their full potential.

20% of students leave education with no basic qualifications - which I'm sure you'll agree is a scary statistic.

Their software is used by over 100 UK employers, Unis and Colleges and it allows them to identify hidden learning needs.

The role is 100% remote.

What you'll be responsible for

Line management of multiple teams covering multiple disciplines

Growing and mentoring a diverse team of engineers, ensuring they are clear on strategy, customer focus and inclusive culture

Manage, support, coach, mentor and evaluate engineers’ performance

You'll also have a chance to contribute to their technical direction in the short, medium and long term.

  • Multiple years in software engineering - ideally SaaS
  • Leading and developing agile teams
  • Full SDLC in a fast-paced environment with CI/CD
  • Working in a Cloud first environment
  • Building high performance engineering teams with "Learn and Grow" mindsets
  • Building effective relationships and process amongst various stakeholders, primarity Product functions
