We're recruiting a Lead Developer on behalf of a Leeds City Centre based Software Consultancy that are offering up to £80k, hybrid remote working and flexible hours.

They're a founder-owned, successful and fast-growing UK-based software consultancy.

They design and build software that transforms some of the world’s biggest and most demanding organisations.

From financial services to complex public services, their consultants combine innovation, experience and pragmatism to deliver measurable results with every project.


Working here, you’ll get to choose your progression path – whether it’s people management or technical architecture.

A lot of their projects involve consumer facing products – example projects include banking dashboards and public sector websites.


You’ll work on a variety of platforms and modern architectures - Microservices, modern front-end frameworks, cloud, streaming and serverless.


Their Leeds office


Their team in Leeds is currently 12 strong, split between Testers, Developers, Delivery and Architecture.

Remote / Flexible working

You'll only be expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week.

Also, there isn't a specific set start and finish time, they just require people to do 8 hours a day and be available for meetings and team sprints.

They don’t prioritise client delivery above the wellbeing of their people and they don’t expect their people to work in locations that don’t suit their circumstances.


Required experience

  • Strong technical team leadership experience with a desire to nurture the aspirations and ambitions of your teammates
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
  • Broad knowledge of technical principles and software design patterns
  • Good communication skills across multiple audiences
