Would you like to work for an early-stage software company where you'll get more progression opportunities as they continue to grow?

We’re recruiting for a .NET Developer with around 2-3 years industry experience for a company in Durham that creates online assessments and psychometric tests.

It’s a great opportunity to grow with them and get more responsibilities over time.

The Company

They were founded 5 years ago and are now 6 employees in total, which includes 2 developers.

Some of their clients include NatWest Bank and EDF Energy.

Companies can use their software as part of their recruitment process to identify suitable candidates which then creates low staff turnover.

Their technology can also be used by non-technical people – psychologists can use it to create their own assessments.

The Role

You'll work as part of the software delivery team, in a DevOps environment with fortnightly sprints.

The tech stack is current .NET Core – they are looking to migrate to .NET 6 and to a SPA framework (likely Angular or Blazor) from MVC.

They have a Project Manager that works closely with their clients, so you’ll get involved in scoping and pre-sales activities too.

You’ll be mentored by the CTO and Senior Developer to enhance your skills further.

Home & Office Working Policy

They have a hybrid approach to working and you’ll be required to work from their office 2-3 days per week.

Their typical working hours are 8:30 – 4:30 or 9:30 – 5:30 but can be flexible depending on their employees requirements.

Salary & Benefits

The role is paying between £33k-£37k. They are willing to pay slightly more for the right candidate.

You'll receive 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

Flexible working hours over a 37.5 hour work week.

Regular salary reviews and promotions for those who excel

They do regular social events as a team.
