A software company that solves problems that matter, such as finding a cure for cancer, developing vaccines for COVID-19, finding contaminents in food or checking the purity of water, is on the lookout for a .NET Developer.

You’ll ideally have 2-3 years software experience and will be joining a company that puts a lot of effort into developing individuals and getting better as a team.

The Company

Founded over 60 years ago in the US, they currently have over 8,000 employees worldwide, which includes 23 developers in their Newcastle team - mostly full stack.

They make software for scientists to help them make accurate decisions as quickly as possible.

The products they make are making a real difference in today's world.


For example, their instruments and software were used for athlete drug testing at the Tokyo Olympics and for the BioNtec/Pfizer vaccine development.

The Role

You'll work as part of an agile software team, which includes testers, product owners, tech leads and a UX developer.

You have the opportunity to take the technical route or the managerial route and will be provided with regular feedback to make sure your work is relating to your career progression.

Their tech stack is currently .NET Core, Angular 9 and TypeScript.

You'll also receive a variety of training here - from internal group learning (tech talks) and traditional training mixed with self-learning (Pluralsight)


10% time - half a day a week you're able to learn new tech - e.g. researching the latest version of C#.

Home & Office Working Policy

They have a hybrid approach to working and you’ll only be required to work from their Newcastle office 3 to 5 days per month. 

They have a 36.75 hour work week with core hours of 10am - 3pm - generally great flexibility.


Salary & Benefits

The role is paying between £30k-£45k.
