Would you like to work with .NET Core, Docker & Kubernetes for the largest Fintech company in the North East, who will also set aside 1 personal development day per fortnight for you?

This company owns the UK's leading savings management platform and provides managed service to new challenger banks and other providers.

You’ll ideally have 3+ years software experience as a .NET developer and will be joining a company that puts a lot of effort into developing individuals and getting better as a team.

The Company

Founded in 2004, their IT function has around 130 people, which includes around 30 developers in their Newcastle team - primarily Microsoft stack.

The scale of what they are doing is much larger than people would initially anticipate.

Many of their employees volunteer to help local charities, with fundraising activities celebrated in the business.

The Role

You'll work as part of an agile software team, which includes testers, product owners, business analysts and dev managers.

You have the opportunity to take the technical route or the managerial route and will be provided with regular feedback to make sure your work is relating to your career progression.

Their tech stack is currently C#, .NET Core, Azure, CI/CD tooling with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and Octopus Deploy - very modern.

Every other Friday they have an 'Innovate & Improve Day' which is a full day set aside for personal development.

Recently, their developers researched into Micro Frontend Architectures with Blazor to see if it would be a feasible option for them.

Home & Office Working Policy

They have a hybrid approach to working and you’ll be required to work from their Newcastle Cobalt office just 2 days per week. 

They have a 35 hour work week Mon-Fri with core hours of 9:30am - 3:30pm - you can work the rest of your hours elsewhere throughout the week.

Salary & Benefits

This role is paying between £40k-£55k.

You'll receive 30 days annual leave + bank holidays.
