A growing digital consultancy based in Newcastle since 2009 are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the team.

As an Agile Project Manager you'll work as part of their delivery team to enabling successful outcomes for their clients.

Headquartered in the UK with offices in Newcastle, London, and Philadelphia, they bring together complex engineering and customer experience, enabling their clients to continusly transform and innovate.

This position is now available due to the expansion of the team, which is currently at 36 employees, with 3 other Project Managers.

Responsibilities
 

  • Cost estimation and budget control. While managing the companies large scale projects
  • Resource management and administration, including updating Forecast, and working with the team to resolve any clashes in resource that may arise.
  • Review holiday requests, ensuring sufficient resource is available to meet project deadlines.
  • Organising and motivating the project team, while helping to support the wider commercial team.
  • Controlling time management and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Managing risks in the project.


Required experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience / skills:

  • 4+ years experience as a Project Manager with solid experience of the software development lifecycle with both Agile and traditional project management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a given time.
  • Experience working with large scale, high value projects
  • Excellent external stakeholder management experience is required
  • Experience in an agile software delivery environment, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Scrum Master certification is beneficial
  • experience in using appropriate tools, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project and all Office tools would be highly desirable
