We’re on the lookout for a Product Owner to join a software company who are modernising the way construction projects are ran.

This role is based in Middlesbrough, with flexible hours and remote working 2-3 days a week.

On top of a salary of up to £55,000, they provide you with up to 28 days annual leave (+8 bank holidays), private medical, 9% pension, annual salary reviews (+ more).

The Company

A Teesside-based software company that continue to create innovative products which are overcoming the challenges of Covid.

Their products have been used in the construction of Heathrow Airport (Terminal 5), The Burj Khalifa and The Shard to name a few.

They have around 300 employees, around 50 of which who are in their tech hub in Middlesbrough.

Responsibilities

  • Define & deliver product releases that are in line with the product roadmap ensuring the functionality, user experience and release performance are in line with overall customer and prospect expectations.
  • Work closely with the associated Product Manager to ensure the product releases (made up of a series of product sprints) align with the product strategy, road-map and the main “themes” and high level release definitions of the roadmap.
  • Take the lead within scrum teams in terms of product functional definition and the timely delivery of sprints and new product releases.
  • Develop use cases, prioritise, write and refine stories and epics to ensure work focuses on the next one or two releases that are aligned with the product strategy and long term roadmap.
