An online training company that create digital training courses and programmes including bespoke learning, custom content and ready to go e-learning.

They have over 4.5 million registered online learners.

They have over 120 members of staff, all based at their Ilkley office.

Team details

You’d work within their Business Solution and Technology Team which is 20 in size.

Within this teams there’s Devs, Testers, PMs, IT Support, Systems Engineers and a DBA.

You’d report directly into the CTO.


Working hours / remote option

37.5 hours a week

The hours you work are flexible – you can start as early as 7:30am or finish as late as 6pm.

The role is fully remote right now. From Mid-September it'll be a blended working mode – a hybrid of home working and office work.

Key duties

  • Work closely with the UX, Development, Project teams to refine requirements and backlog items
  • Define the Product Backlog and Product Roadmap for the nominated product(s)
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's needs
  • Set a clear vision and Release Plan for the product(s)
  • Constantly re-prioritise the Product Backlog based on customer feedback, market changes and business priorities
  • Determine the appropriate product release date and content
  • Actively manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Accept or reject the product teams work results at each Sprint Review meeting
  • Provide a regular reporting including product burn-down metrics, velocity, task definition scope, schedule and planning


Required experience

  • You must have at least 1 year’s experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ideally familiarity with API’s, Integration, PowerApps and Power BI.
  • An understanding of software Agile methodologies, particular Scrum
  • Experience in software product development
