If so, this could be the role for you.


This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a new software project every 4 months or so.

Projects include bespoke Websites/Software, Apps and Cloud based software.

You’ll be part of a company that are implementing over 100 software projects and company requirements.

The Company

A software development house that gets excited by delivering projects using cutting edge technology.

Their projects are predominately Cloud based, using AI and ML.

The owners work within the business and they take an interest in the staff and their careers.

They’re a team of 20 Devs, PM’s & BA’s based on the outskirts of Wakefield.

They're only 5 mins off the M1, so easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley, Halifax and Huddersfield.

They'll offer you work from home up to four days a week as well which is a nice perk.


The Role

The beauty of working here is that they don't have 'a product' so you won't be stuck on one project for an eternity.

Instead, you'd be working on projects on behalf of numerous companies including Airbus, The FA and the NHS directly with the technical sales teams.

These projects normally last between 4-6 months so there'll be plenty of variety for you across the year.

They adopt an Agile Scrum environment so expect daily stand ups, TDD and pair programming.


Knowledge Shares

Every other Friday they get pizzas in and teach each other about emerging tech.

They also have regular stand up knowledge share sessions.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of managing software projects
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working with a software development team
  • Excellent communication skills including experience of client relations
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Can focus on more than one project at a time.
  • Able to lead small to medium teams within a project environment.
  • Willingness to travel off-site and to have a positive attitude


Desirable Experience

  • Means of transport for site visits.
