If you've got ambition and drive, this company will put together a career progression roadmap for you as they like to develop their staff and promote internally.

I'm recruiting for a QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years QA Testing experience in Cucumber and Cypress for a growing digital consultancy based in Leeds and Harrogate - you can choose which office you work from.

Their current Head of Delivery joined as a Junior PM 8 years ago and has progressed their way up through the company.

The Company

They work on complex e-commerce projects for clients including Euro Car Parts, Watco, M&S and The Bath Store.

They build bespoke solutions for them that they can't find elsewhere or off the shelf.

They can do this as they have built their own platform which can then integrate with their clients existing environments.

They were founded over 20 years ago and are now close to 50 employees.

The Role

You'll work as the gatekeeper for the stability and quality of their platform.

You'll work closely with the platform team in an agile worklow to maintain and increase automated test coverage.

Active involvement in client projects to ensure high quality applications are delivered to their clients.

2-3 years minimum experience in Test Automation, Cucumber/CucumberJs, Cypress and API Testing would be useful.

Home & Office Working Policy

They trust their employees to choose how they work - they can work from home or work from their central Harrogate or Leeds offices as often as they like.

For this particular role they feel it would be useful for to come into the office once or twice a fortnight at the start of every sprint or to work with the delivery team and planning.

Their core working hours at 9:30 - 4, so you can have flexibility when it comes to choosing start and finish times.

Salary & Benefits

The role is paying between £35k-£45k. They are willing to pay slightly more for the right candidate.

You'll receive 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

You can also buy and sell up to 10 holidays or carry them over to the following year.

Flexible working hours over a 37.5 hour work week - you also have the option to take a 2 hour lunch if needed.

Regular salary reviews and clear promotion paths for those who excel

They do regular social events (remotely too) and have free snacks, coffee machines and a full drinks fridge in the office.

Cycle to work scheme.

Free seasonal flu vaccination voucher.
