I’m on the lookout for an Automation QA Engineer to join a software company who are modernising the way construction projects are ran.
This role is based in Middlesbrough, with flexible hours and home working 2-3 days a week.
On top of a salary of up to £45,000, they provide you with up to 28 days annual leave (+8 bank holidays), private medical, 9% pension, annual salary reviews (+ more).
The Company
A Teesside-based software company that continue to create innovative products which are overcoming the challenges of Covid.
Their products have been used in the construction of Heathrow Airport (Terminal 5), The Burj Khalifa and The Shard to name a few.
They have around 300 employees, around 50 of which who are in their tech hub in Middlesbrough.
You'll be building automated tests which check the quality and consistency of their software solutions
Having hands-on experience with writing and executing test plans and a good understanding of the following would be great:
- Automated testing tools for web and mobile applications (frameworks such as Selenium)
- Java/C# and web development frameworks
- Performance/load testing with tools such as jMeter, loader.io and SQL Server Profiler
- Communicating frequently with Scrum Masters / Development Managers
- Building automated test frameworks for multiple products
You’ll be working on will be brand new, in-house Projects. They adopt an Agile (scrum) methodology.
