We’re recruiting a Senior Front-End Developer to work for a growing digital consultancy based in the heart of Newcastle city centre.

The company

This company are a digital consultancy who work with both public and private sector clients such as Hitachi, Newcastle united and Northumbrian Water to name a few.


This position is now available due to expansion of the team which is currently sat at 36 employees with 17 Developers within it.

Responsibilities


Your main responsibilities will be producing bespoke software using a number of languages such as HTML, CSS (SASS) and JavaScript (ES2015+).

A broad knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, Vue, React, etc)

Working hours 

37.5-hour work week, with flexibility in start and finish times.


Currently the team are all working remote whilst their offices are refurbished, from January 2022 it will be a mixed role working between the office and home with an expectation of three days per week in the office and two at home.

Required experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience / skills:

  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, (SASS) and JavaScript (ES2015+) C#

  • Knowledge of design principles and the ability to translate these into fluid and responsive templates.

  • Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills. You are a thinker, a logical mind ready to tackle the day-to-day challenges all modern web developers face. You seek best practices and share your knowledge with others. You love working in teams, collaborating with developers and designers.

  • Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages.

  • Experience working with version control systems such as GIT.

  • Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies.
