The company

A Teesside based Utilities company that employs over 100 staff and was established over 5 years ago is on the lookout for a Senior .NET Developer.

They continue to win new customers, so are looking to grow their tech team here in the North East.

What do they do?

They offer software tailored to water companies in the UK.

Some of their solutions include an instant quote tool and billing/revenue tool.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for building and maintaining web applications
  • Supporting and encouraging junior developers
  • Continue to develop new functionality on all our existing/new software products
  • Create technical specifications and software development standards and work packages
  • Track and report the status of projects on various teams

Tech stack

Below is a summary of the tech they currently work with. You don’t need to have experience of everything as full training would be provided.

  • C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6
  • MS SQL - mix of Entity Framework and stored procedures
  • JavaScript - front end is all written in React (not expecting React experts but willingless to learn)
  • Agile - fully immersed
