Can you imagine yourself working with IT solutions that are written predominantly in house by a team of developers using Microsoft C#?
You will be part of a successful tech team that is 13 people strong who are testing new efficiencies, reporting directly into the IT Director you will be using existing test methods as well as creating new methodologies and carrying out day to day fixes.
Skills & Experience:
-
Experienced Test Analyst/QA Analyst (2 years +)
-
Writing test plans and scripts
-
Integration testing
-
Regression testing
-
User Acceptance testing (UAT)
-
Ability to communicate with all levels within the IT team and the wider business i.e. stakeholders
-
ISEB or equivalent Testing qualification is essential
Role & Responsibilities:
-
Review the current testing methods and create a more up to date testing framework
-
Develop standardised testing plans, automation and/or scripts for repetitive build patterns i.e. projects we do that are similar in many forms to previous project builds

Advising the IT team and the business on best testing practice including implementation of testing tools and methodology that would create efficiencies such as automation tools

Mentor and train team members who get involved in testing on an ad-hoc basis

Identification, logging and then tracking of issues during testing

Produce high-quality documentation and/or reporting to Head of IT as part of regular updates on project progress
